"Saving Our Town
Wow, you definitely know how to wrap up a beautifully sudsy, deeply heartfelt saga. I believe Saving contains some of your best writing thus far. You layer tension, after tension, and manage to keep a lot of balls on the air at a time.
I like too the way you weave mental illness (political/personal) so well throughout your works.
Teach Mankind to Fish
"I just finished your book and find it truly remarkable! You weave together so many complex threads-Gloria/GG’s past, present, and mental condition; Joel’s work.
There is a lot going on in this book and I applaud you for such a sustaining a wonderful readability throughout.
Seeking Freedom to Breathe
In the end it was uplifting, but must say there were times it was painful to read. You are amazing to be able to write in a way that gets into the head of others.
Seeking Freedom to Breathe
Finished the book yesterday. It was very good!! Intense, insightful, lovable characters, provocative and helpful in improving my understanding of institutional, community and individual racism. Read it in three days.

Seeking Freedom to Breathe
I finished the book at 2:15 am last night. When one gets to the end, they just have to read the finish. It is one of the best book I have ever read. It brings the problems of the last few years into the story. Also it reminds us that we still have racism in our country.
